09/21/2020 – An SUV driver suspected of a hit and run accident after hitting a pedestrian has died after a getting into a second wreck while attempting to flee the scene.

The pedestrian accident occurred around 11 a.m. on Sunday near Bonanza Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. The driver left the scene without stopping, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Shortly thereafter, the driver illegally ran a red light at Bonanza and Martin Luther King Boulevard, which resulted in a 3-car accident.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The other two drivers are currently treating their injuries.
