The rainy weather was blamed for multiple crashes during the early Tuesday morning commute in the Las Vegas valley, including three school busses.

The good news? Clark County school police Sergeant, Bryan Zink, has stated that no students were on a bus that tipped over on its side in an MVR shortly after 7 a.m. on the 215 and Durango Drive.

The bad news? The driver and a CCSD employee were taken to the University Medical Center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper, Travis Smaka, said there were two other school bus crashes on the same freeway around the same area and time; one accident involved several vehicles. He indicated that no injuries were reported and no children were present on the busses when they crashed.

Smacka indicated the crashes were due to hazardous road conditions from the rainy weather.

The National Weather Service has reported light rain for the duration of this week, lasting until about 5 a.m. on Thursday.
