10/17/2020 – We are saddened to report that an elderly woman was killed in a crash on Saturday night, making it the third traffic-fatality in one day.

At around 6 p.m. on October 17, the LVMPD was called to the scene of the accident at Flamingo Road and Hualapai Way.

Here is what we know: A 21-year old motorist who was headed northbound on Hualapai way in a 2005 Porsche Cayenne when he collided with an 80-year old woman driving a 2013 Nissan Altima. Police indicate that the Altima violated the right-of-way rule of the road.

The woman driving the Altima was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 21-year-old reported only minor injuries.

The identity of the woman has yet to be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.

This marks the 80th traffic-related fatality of 2020.
