09/17/2020 – A 34-year-old North Las Vegas resident has died after being found on a street in a Las Vegas intersection as it is presumed he jumped out of a moving vehicle.
Metro has indicated that he was a passenger in the Toyota that he jumped out of. The accident happened this morning around 12:45 a.m. near Russell Road and Buffalo Drive.
The Toyota’s driver and passenger stayed at the scene and cooperated with local authorities. The driver was eventually arrested after failing a field sobriety test.
Montalvo’s death marks the 69th traffic-related fatality in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction for the year 2020.
This collision remains under investigation.
Dangers of driving drunk
