A Las Vegas man has been found guilty of second-degree murder following a series of DUI crashes in Southern California that killed a mother, critically injured her baby, and hurt multiple others.
The crashes started around 1:24 a.m. in August of 2018.
Prosecutors have announced that Aguilar-Calixto was travelling at more than 100 mph on the I-5 in California after a long night of binge drinking when he collided into a vehicle which left his car blocking the entire travel lane.
From there, multiple vehicles began to collide with his car. One of the vehicles was driven by a young mother of three, Maria Osuna.
